I had never thought much about my need for {certain} colors in my life or my art. I did know that certain colors made me physically ill but didn’t everyone feel that way? I didn’t talk about it because why? I had no idea I was different.

Finally I decided to just do it. I really didn’t think it would be all THAT hard but in reality, she didn’t want to give up her many colors without a tug-of-war.

Deer Family Passing Through Eucalyptus Grove © I had fun painting these visitors to my garden a few years ago. They came into the courtyard to enjoy my newly blooming roses as if they owned the place! Sophie would be very indignant at this LARGE intrusion on her territory.
