2020Looking west, 2 fires spread quickly. Smoke is quickly evident yet the fires are 30+ miles…
800,000 customers
is a lot of people with no power at home or work or on the road at that 4-way stop sign.
It is an uneasy time in my part of the world. We await what has been described as,
“Diablo winds just like the winds that started the fire.”
Nobody who lived through that horrific fire needs a reminder of how it felt.
What can we do but keep on breathing in and out, modest and willing, and in our places? ~Mary Oliver
Capturing the Vineyard as it Wakes up in Late Winter. The buds are just beginning to swell. It’s looking like the vines have liked The Great Floods. You can hear them say, “I have missed you, Sun!”
And already the sunflowers were coming up from seed in my yard by the middle of February.
It’s also nature’s way as she knows more than we do. She knows to set her seeds asap because we are in another drought cycle.
